Fresh off the heels of the year’s two toughest months, the start of spring offers boundless opportunity and a sunny outlook, hence why it’s the perfect time to indulge in some critical ‘me time’. Over the course of five days you enlist in both physical and mental endurance and release – coastal hikes, strength training, reading, massage – and are fuelled by a ‘fad-free’ diet (no cabbage soup here). This isn't a detox or retreat that you leave at the checkout desk, the programme is designed to set you up for life, those five blissful days are a mere side product. The Yeotox programme runs every week from Wednesday to Sunday. The five-day Yeotox Programme costs £1,870 and all accommodation and meals are included. THE MEDICAL DETOXDETOX PROGRAMME; SHA WELLNESS CLINIC, ALICANTE, SPAIN This macrobiotic-based wellness spa and clinic is the best of both worlds – it’s luxurious and good for you. Designed to detoxify and purify the body, help you combine a healthy diet with physical exercise and complementary therapies, and improve your general physical and mental wellbeing, the Detox Programme is like a check box of solutions to everything that’s wrong with city life. You'll be assessed through a medical exam and laboratory tests, and then prescribed a diet for the week, Chinese medicine and therapeutic treatments, and even lymphatic drainage, cryotherapy and colon hydrotherapy. Literally, a new you. A seven-day Detox Programme costs €3,150 and all accommodation and meals are included. THE ESCAPE FROM REALITYESCAPE TO SHAPE, LAKE COMO, ITALY (AND VARIOUS OTHER LOCATIONS) There’s no point in going somewhere Instagrammable and sunny only to spend a week holed up in a yoga studio or weights room. Escape to Shape offers a curated blend of travel, culture and wellness, and is designed to give you an off-the-beaten-track experience within some of the world’s most beautiful cities and towns. Although the company offers retreats everywhere from Cambodia to Chile, the Lake Como one is one of our favourites. Italian food? We're in. The only effort you need to make is pushing the button on the booking and travel to Milan. Once you're there, revel in the indulgence and luxury of an exclusive nineteenth century villa (complete with swimming pool, tennis courts and unparalleled views of Lake Como), enjoy morning power hikes, daily yoga, cooking lessons and cultural day trips. Still at your desk? You know what you need to do. A six-day retreat at Lake Como, Italy costs $4,500, based on two people sharing, and includes all accommodation and meals.
Clean lines, modern accents and athletic detail – it’s now acceptable to wear gym clothes 24/7. Here are the all-star looks to sport this season …WOMENSWEAR: FOR THE BOARDROOMIn case you hadn't clocked it yet, we've developed quite a penchant for all things active – and while the trend’s relaxed vibe is a dream for the weekend, it doesn't have to stop when you're on the clock. Playing the office style game has never been easier – infuse edge into your working wardrobe by mixing in core pieces with a sports luxe feel. Think streamlined track pants, sleek bombers and elegant pumps. Much like your Sunday morning yoga class, balance is the key. Going for bold detail? Stick to luxury textures. Opting for trainers and a sweater? Even it out with tailored trousers in a play-it-safe hue. Move over suiting, this is your new 9-to-5.MENSWEAR: FOR AFTER-HOURSTired of that faithful shirt and jean pairing? Re-energise your menswear evening look with a sporty sensibility. Wait a second though – we're not saying hit the bar in your sweats (sorry). So what are the rules? Stick to accents rather than statements – pivotal evening basics can be totally transformed by low-key twists. Basically, leave your tracksuit in the locker-room and you're good to go. These are the details you need on your radar.WOMENSWEAR: FOR RUNNING ERRANDS Too busy to deal? Minimise sartorial stress with a sports-meets-streetwear approach. Effortlessly cool and quietly comfortable, run your errands in a combo of cashmere knitted joggers and soft cotton tees – topped off with a sleek leather jacket for that credible city spin. As for footwear, as much as we love a good heel, sometimes we just haven't got time for the drama. Swap in for artfully designed trainers and move seamlessly in style from one errand to another. Cool running indeed. MENSWEAR: FOR THE OUTDOORS March might mean that spring has sprung – but we're not ready to lose the layers anytime soon. Luckily, this season’s sports inspired pieces make for a winning (and warming) combination. Tap into the trend with thick graphic sweaters or dare to be bold knitted cardigans of bright geometric prints. If the pieces push you out of your comfort zone, pare it back with a neutral cover up. Oversized coats are the laid-back hero of the moment – go big or go home people.
Post-winter blues getting you down? It’s time to shake things up and we don’t mean behind the bar. Introducing three wonderful – and maybe a little weird – concoctions mixed up by Jack Graham. As the master juice mixologist (yes that’s a thing) over at hip London health hang-out Raw Press, there’s no one better for the job. Thought argan oil was just for your hair? Think again. Let’s get mixing…MUSHROOM ESPRESSO MARTINI After soaking the almonds, blend them with dates, vanilla beans, Himalayan sea salt and coconut water, which really refines the flavour and makes it extra delicious.Once strained and chilled, finish off this wonderful and earthy espresso martini with a shot of coffee and a dusting of medicinal mushroom powder. Reishi mushrooms are the most famous of all the medicinal mushrooms; they have been used historically to strengthen the immune system, relieve stress and cleanse the liver. Winning.Say goodbye to your morning cappuccino and spruce up your cocktail repertoire; this is one mineral-rich jet fuel that you can definitely feel good about!RECIPE15g soaked almonds 1/2 medium-sized soaked and pitted datesA pinch of sea saltA drop of vanilla extract125ml raw coconut water 1/2 shot of coffee (preferably cold-brew)1g powdered reishi mushroomsBlend all the ingredients together except the coffee and the medicinal mushroom until smooth and creamy, strain through a nut milk bag or muslin cloth, mix in the coffee and the mushroom powder, and serve or chill for up to three days.UPROOTED 94 Incorporating carrot, orange, fennel, turmeric, ginger and argan oil, our Uprooted juice is sweet and spicy, with a really unusual combination of ingredients. Turmeric is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that ordinarily isn't that well absorbed into the body, but is fat-soluble. It therefore becomes even more potent when combined with argan oil, which itself boasts numerous benefits including lowering bad cholesterol. Fennel and ginger calm the stomach, while carrots and oranges (rich in vitamins A and C) encourage clear skin. The Uprooted juice is one of our most popular concoctions, and here we are taking it to the next level with some fresh chilli and the addition of Seedlip’s non-alcoholic spirit, Spice 94, boasting botanicals of allspice, cardamom, oak, lemon and grapefruit. RECIPE – 250ML LONG DRINK3 carrots (approximately) (c.300g)1 fennel bulb (c.100g)150ml freshly squeezed orange juice5g fresh turmeric root5g fresh ginger root1tsp argan oil1 shot of Seedlip 94A pinch of freshly chopped red chilli to garnishSHOT IN THE DARKThe sea buckthorn berry contains some of the highest amounts of vitamin C found in fruit. They have a strong citrusy aroma and have become naturalised around Britain’s coastlands.Activated charcoal is another ingredient that has been super-popular in juicing circles over the past year or two, and is the perfect way to detoxify the system from various toxins. RECIPE A pinch of activated charcoal powder 1 tsp sea buckthorn juice, or 5 or 6 dried berries crushed in a pestle and mortar15ml aloe vera juice 15ml raw coconut water
Chanel, Alexander Wang, Nike – we don’t care who takes credit for sparking the sportswear ‘trend’ that’s refused to leave us for the last few seasons. All we care about is that it’s not going anywhere. Seriously – please don't take it away from us. Mastering sports luxe style is easy to underestimate; there’s more to it than just pulling on sweats, lacing up a pair of high tops, looping your hair into a ponytail, and calling it a look. Follow a few simple rules, however, and you'll have low-key dressing down to a tee (literally). SHOW CONTROL Self-restraint is the most difficult part of any comfortable look, but you have to draw the line somewhere. Pick one piece – an oversized hoodie is a good place to start – and incorporate it into your everyday repertoire. Look for elevated styles in luxe fabrics, with contemporary detailing such as raw trims, embellishment or graphic motifs. Grey, navy and bright solid-colour pieces will dissolve edgy all-black outfits, adding interest. Remember: style is often a juxtaposition, so although those running shoes feel like heaven, always balance low with high.THROW SHADE Just because something feels good doesn't mean that it can’t make a statement. Take your cue from Yeezy. Pick one base colour and plan your outfit around it – building tonal layers creates contrast and limits the time you need to spend considering your wardrobe decisions. Rich olive hues are universally flattering and team just as well with earthy sand tones and lighter moss shades. And the best part? It doesn't matter how low-key your outfit is; tonal dressing always yields maximum impact for minimum effort. Win, win. LAYER UP
Sometimes, when a model makes an outfit their uniform, it lures you into the false sense of security that you too could make it yours. This isn't one of those times – thanks Gigi; we like your skinny-leather-leggings-and-bomber-jacket combo, and we're going to work it too. The draw with a bomber jacket is that it instantly adds a cool, athletic feel to your look, and you don't even need to zip it up. Drape it over your shoulders, tie it around your waist, double it up – choose a timeless style in olive or black, and wear it for seasons to come. NON-COMMITTAL As appealing as dressing down is to some, the mere thought makes others recoil. Here’s the good news – sports luxe is a still a trend you can tap. A bomber jacket in tactile satin or silk is lightweight and elegant, while embroidered and embellished detailing adds individuality. Keep your style as is and think of the athletic aspect as an add-on, rather than the focal point of your outfit. Try switching out heels for Converse with a slip dress or pairing leather culottes with an oversized tee or hoodie rather than a silk shirt. RIDE THE WAVE
Beach-blonde waves and sun-kissed skin isn't a prerequisite for Candice’s laidback style, but they definitely don't do it any harm. The perfect travel outfit, love-worn denim and a cropped white tee always looks fresh and feels comfortable. Kick the sports vibe up a notch, switching anything fancy for your best beat-up low tops, and wrap a bomber jacket or sweatshirt around your waist. It might feel like you circa your teenage years, but that’s what makes it cool.
FOUR JACKETS TO COVET NOWWhen it comes to layers, we know you need no persuasion to invest in a new cover-up. Duster, bomber, camel or cocoon – we’re all about the jacket. Throw them over statement separates and you’re good to go.4 OF THE BEST: STATEMENT DRESSESDress them up or dress them down – these pivotal pieces are sure to become the lynchpin of your look this season. Whether you’re partial to the bold and bright or prefer a classically cool approach, it’s time to invest in the dress. Frock and roll baby!NEW SEASON, NEW SHOESYou can never have too many pairs of shoes. Well, maybe you can – but we’re not here to judge. From luxe, opulent and beautifully crafted creations, right down to those effortless, city-ready kicks – we’re all about that head-to-toe approach.SPRING TRENDS: THE HANDBAG EDITIf the winter weather took a toll on your pride and joy – we feel your pain. With so many beautiful styles to take advantage of, maybe it’s not such a bad thing. These are the ‘forever pieces’ we’re giving ourselves permission to invest in this month. Get involved.GET IT BEFORE IT GOESNew season, new wardrobe? It’s time to hit refresh. We’ve got the must-haves you need to kick off spring in style – and they’ll be gone before you know it…
"Nothing defines a person like the dress they wore to the Oscars" said... well no one really, but we were all thinking it. Cate Blanchett's Giorgio Armani Privé gown – as worn to the 2016 ceremony – saw a surge of icy-blue hues make their way onto the high street, and after the love it/hate it debacle of Anne Hathaway's pink satin Dior dress in 2013, rumours flew around that she'd sacked her stylist as a result. Ouch. So in honour of the star-studded event returning for its 89th year, we’re looking back at the most unforgettable gowns. Champagne at the ready…ALL THAT SPARKLES For an event as glitzy as the Oscars, it’s no surprise that metallic hues feature highly on the red carpet. Reese Witherspoon stunned red carpet revellers for all the right reasons at the 2006 Academy Awards after stepping out in a 1955 gold embellished Dior gown, fit for royalty. And who could forget Felicity Jones’s emotional portrayal of Jane in The Theory of Everything (2015). Jones didn’t go home with the gong that night but she was certainly the people’s choice owing to the stunning Alexander McQueen bodice and floor-length skirt. FRILL SEEKERSThe Oscars is much like a free pass for A-listers to bring out their inner Disney princess, which is exactly what Amy Adams did in 2013 when she stole the show in an Oscar de la Renta frilled ball gown. In 2011, Marisa Tomei stepped back in time with a vintage 1950s Charles James dress, complete with a frilled train. And no Oscars round-up would be complete without a round of applause for Bjork’s much-mentioned 2001 swan dress by Macedonian designer Marjan Pejoski. The Icelandic icon even pretended to lay eggs on the red carpet; top marks for originality, Bjork. BELLES OF THE BALLEverything about Lupita Nyong’o’s 2014 duck-egg blue Prada gown made it a clear winner on the Oscars best-dressed list; the colour, the cut and the way it hugged her figure in such an elegant, understated way. She also found the perfect accessory for it slightly later in the night: the Oscar itself! When Jennifer Lawrence took a rather unfortunate trip at the 2013 Academy Awards – the twittersphere was too in awe of her show-stopping Christian Dior gown to mind. And let’s face it, if anyone can pull off a red-carpet tumble, it’s J-Law. TUX DELUXERyan Gosling doesn't have to do much to please crowds with his appearance these days, in fact, quite frankly he could turn up in a bin bag and trend spotters would be hailing it as the signature look of the year. But when he presented the award for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2016 event, it wasn't the winning film that got crowds applauding with such vehemence. It was his perfectly tailored Gucci suit, complete with matching white shirt and bow tie. Whilst David Oyelowo proved at the 2015 Oscars that bold colours aren't just for women. His red wine coloured Dolce & Gabbana tux was a daring choice, but one that totally paid off.
Whether it be Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck gallivanting around the Italian capital on a Vespa, or Mathieu Kassovitz gazing into Audrey Tautou's enormous almond eyes at the Gare Du Nord, Europe easily bags the prize for the most romantic continent. With al fresco dining, winding lanes and il vino to be served with every course – your next romantic retreat is just a hop, skip and a quick mosey round the duty-free aisle away. GO BEYOND GAUDI Known for its impressive architecture, winding market streets and glorious climes, Barcelona isn’t a hard sell. But beyond the tourist trails of Las Ramblas, the sightseeing buses and the (admittedly stunning) Gaudi buildings, is a cosmopolitan metropolis just waiting to be explored. City strolling doesn’t get more romantic than at the Parc de Montjuïc; comprising of several museums to explore and the glorious Jardins de Laribal tree-laden walkway. Spaniards are night owls by nature, so be sure to save some energy to explore some of the exciting new eateries that the city has on offer. The Michelin-starred Alkimia, just outside the Gothic Quarter, combines industrial interiors with an elegant yet innovative Catalonian menu. Don’t leave the city without sampling their signature salt cod. Barcelona’s hotel collection is an impressive one, meaning that you never have to face a bad night’s sleep after all that exploring. Hotel Omm offers the ultimate in city-centre serenity; ideally located to maximise your time in Barcelona. BEAUTY IN BAVARIA It’s often claimed that Munich is Germany’s prettiest city, and with its Alpine mountain backdrop, striking Bavarian architecture and village-esque feel, it’s easy to see why. If you’ve ever found Berlin to be too much of a head spin, then Munich could well be the antidote you’re looking for. The stunning Marienplatz Square, located in the centre of the city, boasts a wealth of art galleries – or sample the simple but excellent dishes at Zum Dürnbräu, a traditional Bavarian tavern, whose dishes include the city’s staple Nürnberger sausages with sauerkraut and dumplings. For a room with a view, book into the Grand Hotel Bayerischer Hof, where you can enjoy stunning scenery of the city from its rooftop bar, Blue Spa Terrace. And finally, a trip to the nearby Ingolstadt Village makes for holiday shopping bliss, just in case lederhosen isn’t your thing. LONDON CALLING Leave the London Eye to the first-timers and enjoy the views of the city from the dizzy heights of Vista Bar, overlooking Trafalgar Square and beyond. No admission fees means more money to spend on Cosmopolitans, anyway. Shopping is big business in London so leave enough space in the suitcase for those must-have buys. Head to nearby Bicester Village where you’ll find all the world-famous names you could ask for in one place. Markets are also a must-visit when you’re in the capital, and Columbia Road Flower Market is about as pretty as they get. After all that exploring, a night at the Como Metropolitan Hotel will have you feeling rested and refreshed in no time, not to mention being ideally located to South Kensington’s array of museums and the sumptuous restaurants of Mayfair. We’re sold. LA VILLE DE L’AMOUR Paris isn’t called the city of love for nothing; the accent, the culture, the picture-perfect backdrops around every corner of the city; we can’t seem to get enough of the place! It was Audrey Hepburn who famously stated, “Paris is always a good idea”, and she sure had a point. It pays dividends to get organised before taking off. Most attractions, including the Eiffel Tower and The Louvre, allow you to pre-book online, meaning you’re less likely to spend the entire trip in queues. If you’ve visited before and are looking to travel further afield, a day’s shopping trip at La Vallée Village, just east of the city, will have you feeling (and dressing) like a Parisian! Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg Hotel offers excellence in comfort and is within easy walking distance from Champs-Élysées, the River Seine and the many other delights of Paris. Plus, to make your stay extra special, La Vallée Village have teamed up with Sofitel, Mgallery by Sofitel and Pullman to bring you an exclusive luxury travel package (click here for more details) – perfect for a romantic trip away. Bon voyage!
When it comes to the sartorial start over, there’s no one we trust more for the low down than Fashion Editor Harriet Quick. Get ready for trend overload.THINK PINKPink has emerged as the colour of modern femininity. It displays as many qualities as women themselves, whether in soft blush tones, provocative, flirtatious fuchsia or wistful old-rose hues. Designers are embracing pink with a passion, from Chloé’s signature blush and Balenciaga’s bubblegum brights to Prada’s knowingly kitsch candy shades. The newest way to wear it is uncompromisingly in head-to-toe tonal layers. Seek out pink tailoring to replace monotones; baby-doll dresses with matching shoes; pussy bow blouses and cropped trousers, and even WAG-style tracksuits. Pink speaks volumes about optimism and that’s what we need right now. 80s GLAMThe era that delivered power shoulders, Working Girl miniskirts, slinky body-con dressing and a whole lot of lamé is back. A generation of designers who were toddlers at the time are pillaging the stylistic memes of the sex, power and glamour decade and reprising that exuberance for now. What this trend requires is guts and daring. Mini skirts will feel naked after seasons of flowing lines, just as bold shoulders will seem alien. Yet the confidence-boosting benefits are manifold. Look back to the icons of the era for inspiration from the supermodels in Alaïa to Nan Kempner’s taste for boxy tailoring and Paloma Picasso’s flamboyant big earrings and taste for Saint Laurent. STATEMENT SLEEVESOne of the best hacks for spring style is adopting big, voluminous sleeves. There’s a whole lexicon of shapes to consider from trumpet sleeves that burst out from the elbow like tulip flowers to theatrical leg-o-mutton lines that billow out from the shoulder and tighten in on the lower arm, and sweet, peasant-style drawstring blouses. If you prefer more tailored lines, search for men’s shirts with French cuffs that can be worn open and down to the knucklebone. RAVE DELUXEThose brilliantly hedonistic days of rave and ‘Madchester’ are filtering through to fashion, with creative talents as diverse as Miuccia Prada at Miu Miu and Fashion Award Emerging Talent winner Molly Goddard seizing upon the baggy style, the neon brights and, above all, the DIY spirit that defined the dance revolution. Tune into the pieces including floor-grazing baggy trousers and tracksuit tops; tie-dye and mesh T-shirts; satin trainers; neon sports bras and bomber jackets, and pile it on in layers. Add a cotton hat, a rucksack and find a dance party to lift your spirits up and away. ACCESSORIES TO COVETWhen it comes to those desirable ‘extras’, it is all about mixing not matching. Start with earrings and consider wearing mismatched pieces (whether in silver or crystal, they should look like cousins not strangers). For feet, follow the lead of Céline and Hillier Bartley and wear different colours on your left and right foot. This requires buying two pairs of the same style but oh there’s fun to be had in this eccentric style spin. Glammed-up Crocs, pool slides and flatform trekking sandals will boost your holiday wardrobe; while for the everyday, kitten heels are back. This bonsai-sized heel adds a little extra kick to tailoring and looks so cute after seasons of chunky shapes. Whatever way you adorn yourself, let individuality rule.
FOCUS-MONEY conducted a nationwide survey in December 2016 in which 11 outlet centers could be rated. Only three of them have been rated as 'very good' with Ingolstadt Village being the test winner especially honoured in the fields of product offer and customer service.

Mince pies, mulled wine and one too many chocolates from the tree… all sounding a little too familiar? Come January, enough is enough and after two weeks of pure indulgence, it’s time to get it together.
So to help kick-start our new year reboot, we’ve called upon the help of holistic health coach, blogger, chef and all round wellness guru Madeleine Shaw.
Here’s a play-by-play of how she gets back on track. So much goodness.
From that must-have new investment to our favourite boutique hotel – here’s what’s on our radar this week.Kickstart January with this delicious recipe from Madeline Shaw’s new book, READY, STEADY, GLOW Fast, Fresh Food Designed for Real Life.
Pan-fried trout with cucumber, apple and dill salad (serves two)
1 cucumber, peeled, halved and cut into ½ cm semicircles1 tbsp Dijon mustard1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1tsp dried)1/4 tbsp apple cider vinegar2 tbsp olive oil1 large avocado, peeled and stoned1 apple, peeled and cored1 shallot, finely minced1 tbsp coconut oil or butter2 tbsp capers, plus extra to serve2 trout filletssalt, to taste
The sweetness of the apple really goes well with this strong-flavoured fish, but if you can’t find trout fillets you could use salmon instead. Although capers are known to be high in sodium, they add an extra burst of flavour, which is just what the fish needs.
Place the cucumber slices in a colander, sprinkle with salt and let them sit for 10–15 minutes to draw out the excess water while you prepare the rest of the dish.Make the dressing by mixing the mustard, dill, vinegar and olive oil together with pinch of salt. Thinly slice the avocado and apple and throw into the dressing to stop them browning, along with the shallots, stirring well to combine.
Ready for the reboot? January’s mix-up of iridescent prints and cutting-edge designs are simply made for movement. It’s time to sweat.
WEEK 1: GYM BAGS
Let’s get real for a second – fitting a killer workout into our day-to-day routine requires some serious packing prep. So whether you’re moving from dance class to desk – or from cardio barre to, well, an actual bar – gym bags keep your style on point, even when your post-yoga ponytail is letting you down.WEEK 2: SNEAKERS
From streamlined support to breathable technology, train harder and smarter with a pair to suit your personal aesthetic. Low key and city ready, you won’t want to take these off post-sweat. Whether you are reimagining a classic or revelling in the latest hype – it’s a good job sneakers are the shoes of the moment.WEEK 3: HOODIES
So you’ve chosen January to mark the start of your new fitness regime. Unfortunately, the rest of the world has had the same idea – cue packed gyms and fighting over the last treadmill. Get out in the open instead with design-driven outerwear to keep you snug. If you’re in the market for a new hoodie, make it one of these.WEEK 4: SPORTS BRASElevate your gym attire this season with these form-fitting sports bras simply made for the yoga studio. Layer over a leather jacket and team with printed yoga pants and low-key kicks to channel your inner supermodel. Green juice optional.
If you’re already regretting the decision to jump on the health bandwagon this season, then you’re not alone. Facing the Christmas comedown with nothing but green tea and a sad bag of kale chips may seem unappealing – but once you’ve sobered up a little, checked your bank balance and tried to squeeze into your jeans – you may feel differently.
Luckily, detoxing needn’t be dull, we promise. And while we’ve previously given up on day three, this year we have a solid backup plan so we can finally reach that elusive post-January glow. Hand clapping emojis all around.
So get in all the mulled wine and mince pies you can– because come 1 January, you’re totally joining us.
DRY JAN SWAP ONE: THE NIGHT CLUB FOR THE NIGHT SWEAT
It’s the first Saturday of the month and if you’re anything like us, you might be starting to get a little restless by now. Hang on in there, only 24 days to – oh wait, never mind. Anyway, no better way to release some of that FOMO than a good work out. But forget slogging it out on the treadmill, the latest trend making waves in the fitness world mashes up exercise with live DJs, strobe lighting and neon accents. From nightclub boxing to hip-hop yoga – it’s never been easier to get that natural high.

1. Take a bathPublic baths are a predominant part of German spa culture and Munich’s Müller’sches Volksbad is one of the most impressive. Housed in an elegant mansion, the art nouveau bathhouse is filled with everything from stone statues to ornate chandeliers.
2. Hit the townBerlin may be Germany’s undisputed king of the club scene, but Munich gives the capital a run for its money.P1 has been at the centre of the club scene here for years and is still a fashionable spot. With world-class DJs spinning house tunes, it’s the place to rub shoulders with Bayern Munich footballers.
3. Visit Nymphenburg ParkThe garden of Nymphenburg Palace – summer residence of past Bavarian rulers – is a lovely place to take a stroll on a crisp winter’s morning. Originally an Italian garden, it was redesigned in the French style and then remodelled to become classically English. The symmetrical gardens, central canal and lakes are stunning.
4. Watch river surfing on the EisbachPerhaps one of the more bizarre sights you’ll see in Munich is wetsuit-clad surfers making their way through the Englischer Garten to surf the Eisbach, a man-made tributary of the Isar River.

HAND-WASH- Turn your pieces inside out and prepare a sink of tepid water – be sure to use a specially formulated liquid detergent that doesn’t contain any bleach or enzymes.
- Avoid washing with chlorine-based products and don’t soak for a long period of time, instead wash and rinse quickly until the water runs clear.

I’ve been passionate about fashion and style for as long as I can remember. My mother always en-couraged me to express myself through clothes, but I think my interest fully blossomed when I started reading GQ at 14. I would study each and every page and just knew I had to be a part of that world. A good strong fabric such as vichy wool or herringbone will not only protect you from the cold, but it will also add plenty of elegance to your outfit. There’s an amazing brand selection when it comes to tailoring and suits at Bicester Village. Burberry, Dunhill, Ermenegildo Zegna and Reiss offer the best of their price range. I love the twist that Burberry and Reiss give to their suits in particular, with plenty of fabrics, patterns and colours to choose from.
